I am a graduate student studying UX design at Pratt Institute in New York City. I am from Saitama, Japan.

Work history 💼
After completing my undergraduate studies (I majored in physics!), I spent 1 year as an IT consultant and 4.5 years as a software developer in a tech company in Tokyo. During this time, I contributed to the development of add-on features aimed at enhancing the productivity of Japanese organizations' complex HR workflows.

Why design? 🎨
The work experience taught me that product design is indispensable for delivering real value to users. My enduring passion for connecting people with technology and creating meaningful experiences led me to pursue a career as a designer.

When not designing... 🍵
When I am not designing, I like to explore new restaurants in NYC, try new recipes, walk, listen to the radio, and travel.
